The new formulation of Juvederm and Restylane with anesthetic lidocaine enhances patient comfort during injection. At Chevy Chase Dermatology, we continue to apply a topical anesthetic to the treatment area prior to injection to minimize the discomfort even further.
While Botox Cosmetic and Dysport are ideally suited for the uper face, Juvederm and Restylane work especially well in the lower face, softening the smile lines (nasolabial folds), marionette lines, and wrinkles around the mouth.
